Important to consider multiple hypotheses of course, while it's possible this is due to vaccines, some other confounders like the failed policies to eradicate Covid also had effect of raising all the things that are linked to heart disease (not to mention increasing susceptibility to viruses by weakening our immune system - go figure). Stress, poor diet, lack of exercise, alcohol consumption - all are well documented consequences of our quest for Zero Covid. Should not be surprised that after 2 years the compounding effects yield more heart disease in a population - especially when coupled with decreases in preventative care, wellness visits, etc.

My wife's a vascular surgeon and definitely seeing an increase in unhealthy people here in Ohio. Vaxxed and unvaxxed. Most people got fatter than they would have the last 2 years.

By comparison high vaxxed countries that didn't create as much panic (Sweden, Denmark, Finland) I don't believe are seeing increases in heart disease, as they didn't spend 2 years freaking out, inside, eating fast food delivered by door dash (or your UK equivalent) and saying it was patriotic to "Netflix and chill for 2 weeks/years".

Also interesting is the immediate increase in heart attacks very strict lockdown caused in New York City. See attached picture of spreadsheet comparing all cause mortality to ICD-10 codes releated to heart attacks. Immediate spike AFTER lockdowns implemented, spiking from average of 360/week to up to 1700 at peak. That tells us I think there is strong correlation to panic/stress and heart attacks we can measure in a very dense population. (As if this should be surprising in the slightest...).
