Similar situation in British Columbia, Canada. Despite the health care system being overwhelmed and unable to respond effectively, the Public Health Office and Minister of Health refuse to even consider bringing back unjabbed workers. They are working instead to bring in more immigrants who will do as they are told.

How do you force in a gov't medical system which will control who lives and who dies based on their politics? You collapse the old medical system, and you do that by killing off or disabling as many healthcare workers as you can.

What happens when they cannot hire skilled people? They hire unskilled people. In the past 2 years I've encountered 2 medical assistants who couldn't pronounce medications. And the computer had a pronunciation guide! And at work we've been using more expensive temps because we cannot find any unskilled people who will work for less than $18/hour. The odd thing is, while travelling in 2020, we found fast food restaurants advertising for jobs at $16-18/hour. To cover those wages the owner would have to raise prices which is unsustainable in the small towns the restaurants were in.

In the US we have a shortage of urologists. It can take 4-5 months to get an appointment.

And I cannot get an appointment with my regular doctor for 2-3 weeks, so I normally go to urgent care the most.
