Serious adverse events and death analysis
2021 is almost complete in terms of VAERS reporting.
As of 12th November, serious adverse event reports are up 26 times the prior 10-year average.
Congenital anomalies and birth defects are up 56 times, albeit on relative low numbers.
Emergency Room / Office Visits are up 26 times.
Permanent disability is up 30 times.
Life threatening events are up 34 times.
New and prolonged hospitalisations are up 23 times.
Deaths are up 46 times.
Apparently, there is still no “safety signal” that the public health authorities seem to be concerned about. I guess it’s covered by the disclaimer?
But the year isn’t over yet…
Perhaps it’s because they have done some basic analysis and comparisons to expected background rates and concluded that correlation does not equal causation? A simple test is days between vaccination and event. Here is only deaths within 7 days of vaccination. How does it look? Still no signal? No suspicion of causation?
Yeah, but, it’s just old people who were dying anyway, right? Oh, you mean just like COVID but it doesn’t apply to COVID despite way over 90% of COVID deaths being in those with at least one other comorbidity?
Well, according to the reports, of the 8,431 deaths reported to have occurred within 7 days of the COVID vaccines, 5,819 (69%) had NO other illness at all, let alone something that might have killed them. And for those whose age was known, 19% were under the age of 60.

I'm sure there's a real signal here... but is there a way to normalise the data by number of vaccinations taken? It's feasible that if (e.g.) 100x more vaccinations were administered in 2021 compared to a typical year. then there would be 100x as many adverse effects. Even if that were not the case your conclusion would still hold, but it would be even more powerful if the normalised data showed the same result.
