I seriously doubt that many people died from contracting covid. The ones who it probably did kill were probably already on their last legs - over the average age of death and with lots of other things wrong with them. The first person to have a frontpage spread in my local newspaper because they "died of covid" and were "snatched away too soon" turned out, on reading the article to be a very overweight grandmother with diabetes, kidney problems and COPD. She was well into her late 70s. Not exactly "snatched away too soon".
However, I think many people were taken into ICUs, intubated and killed. Having heard nurses talk about how they were not allowed to care for patients normally but had to avoid contact with them makes it seem obvious that going to hospital was far more likely to kill people than simply contracting covid. My cousin had a "heart incident" not long after her jabs and was told to go to hospital. She was admitted to the heart ward, swabbed for covid, found to be positive and moved to the covid ward. After a week of not seeing the heart specialist (because he wasn't allowed onto the covid ward), she discharged herself. She didn't have any covid symptoms although, since taking the jabs she has had it about three times!
This report won't change anyone's opinion. Those of us who never believed it was a pandemic of disease and never believed walking one way round supermarkets would stop an airborne cold virus already know. Those of us who believed (and quite often thoroughly enjoyed) all the hype and hysteria have to keep on believing it was all a price worth paying to stay alive otherwise they'd have to admit they were fooled.
These poor researchers just destroyed their careers. No one will publish this no media will ever report it no politician will ever bring it up. They will never get another grant for anything.

Rancourt’s academic career was destroyed long ago. These researchers are well aware of the kind of reception their work will receive. I would not feel sorry for them. Agree hospital protocols were recorded as Covid deaths. Patients killed by Remdesivir/ vent had death certificates that read “Covid 19 pneumonia”.
