Joe, thanks for what you do. Sorry to go off topic, but I want to provide a sidebar regarding your opening statement on Pinochet. He was an avowed anticommunist and did what he did to elements within the population in order to save his country from the embedded hard core communists that the previous regime leader Allende allowed inside Chile. Yes, he cleaned the house with retribution. Hard core communists have a hard time reforming which is why Pinochet did what the world would classify him as "a ruthless dictator". Leftists are relentless as we have seen throughout covid and do not easily give up power (which is why the west is in big trouble). Pinochet brought tremendous commercial stability to Chile for many years. The media portrays Pinochet as a ruthless dictator because as you know, the media is biased by a leftist worldview who either dismiss hard core communism as a phantom or as a better alternative to "corrupt" capitalism.

Yes, indeed. It's time for people to re-examine what they think they know about so much of world history. We've all been brainwashed by commies for many, many decades. Do the Spanish Civil War next.

Joe, thanks. I just like to share what i have read. God bless you and I am grateful that you give others opportunity to comment on your articles...many of these great substack authors are not allowing readers to comment unless they pony up to the bar and pay for the right of commenting. I understand this is freedom that capitalism brings. It is unfortunate that freedom sometimes turns into opportunism as we have seen in some covid truth tellers. I understand the need to make an income but what gets me are some of the people who restrict comments appear to be very well off and not in any financial need whatsoever. Of truth, the pay feature also keeps trolls away :-).

Equally annoyed by their doing that, and even less motivated to subscribe to them.

His name is Joel. JoeL. Only reason I'm saying this is because after an entire life of having to tell people my name over and over and still have them call me by the wrong name, it makes me crazy for people to call myself or others by the wrong name.

That's not education, it's partisan propaganda. If opposing the disappearing of your opponents is "leftist" (an American expression; there is no such ideology, the left-right spectrum being an abstract concept having its origins in the French Revolution) then call me a "leftist". But my politics are about values, not tribalistic labels. I value freedom in the sense that Albert Camus meant the term, i.e. the willingness to take on responsibility, not something self-indulgent to be balanced with responsibilities. I value freedom of speech; good ideas openly defeating bad ones. I value health; cultivating good health, always learning more what this means, not just trying to patch-up poor health. I value the freedom of children to be children, creating safe places for them, then allowing them to participate in natural rough 'n' tumble without mollycoddling. I value education for its own sake, not simply for career purposes. Sorry if this seems rambling and boring, I find sticking labels on people boring.

Amen, thank you. I was about to chime in.

Like your comparison with the death totals under the dictatorship... you'd think there would be outrage...

Again... you can show that to a CovIDIOT... and they will see nothing ... or they will make up an excuse ... and head to the super market parking lot injection popup because they heard the 5th shot was now on tap.

We are surrounded by an ocean of zombies... we really are.

Wow, Chile is 100% boosted? How did they pull off that feat and manage to get everyone to go for a third round?

Propaganda.

Propaganda in itself is not enough. Lies probably make up 30% points or more of that 100% claim. And coercion another 30% +. Idiocy maybe 10%.

Cynical me doesn't believe Bull and Malware Gates' funded 'Our World in Data' 's figures for percentage of population injects.

Deaths, well that may be correct?

But hey Joel, you are going to get a bit tired of doing this repeat reporting for all the globalists' captured countries.

It's the total number of booster jabs divided by the total population number. Some will had 1+, some (hopefully) have learnt from the Inca child sacrifice for their Sun (Corona) god.

The vaccination rate here in Chile is almost 95% with 3 or 4 doses.

Wow, do you expect massive property deflation with the impending die off?

It depends on how massive would be the excess of mortality

Well I know of 1 person in Chile not vaccinated, Whitney Webb, she has stated that the Chileans are very compliant. A few are waking up apparently.

Chile is an incredibly beautiful place, and the people I met there were very friendly. Sad to see its government was so draconian, and the populace seems to be seduced by leftist politics...again.

Did the vaccine cost them an arm and a leg, after which their feat was pulled off?

All kidding aside, I remember how Chile adopted a Chinese vaccine much more rapidly than almost any other country adopted any vaccine, nevertheless, it took months for their death rate to go down, which I interpreted to mean the vaccine they used was useless, AT BEST.

Slight correction to your headline is needed. 3,000 people did not die/disappear under Pinochet. 3,000 Communists died/disappeared and Commies are not people.

If I may, what made you choose Metatron?

Expand full comment

I would guess. It's a combination of the term meta-analysis (b/c he's often doing statistical analysis and sometimes compiling study/data sets into a meta analysis) and the bad-ass transformers villian mega-tron. Meta+tron?

That or Tron in reference to the Disney films, implying, the possibility of a simulated world within a computer and by abstraction, the idea we might be living in a world-within-a-computer-simulation.

Fascism and communism are just opposite sides of the same coin, a coin provided by capitalists. Pinochet performed genocide on behalf of the same capitalists who funded Mao.

Killing people for their political beliefs, however flawed such beliefs may be, is never a good thing. Killing those who are killing might be necessary sometimes to prevent more killing, regardless of the political beliefs of the killers.

Was about to say McCarthyism managed this without wholesale slaughter.

But then mesmerized by 1950's McCarthy posters. And warnings of one-world order 70years ago... So is this question historical constant or just part of natural global effects (and fears ) from technology? resulting

Better to compare it to itself so there are fewer confounders. No national lockdown, 11k excess deaths from COVID. With vaccine, 21k excess deaths. With booster, 14k excess deaths and still counting...

It is not fair to say it caused "all" of it but you can subtract deaths-due-to-covid and there's a huge gap. Some might be suicides due to pandemic restrictions (but you'd have to see like a insane increase in suicides to account for the entire gap). However, this didn't occur and your fallacious argument was THROUGHLY debunked by JESSICA CARR who did a full-review on her substack of ALL CAUSES OF DEATH one by one in the top 40 in like 2018 to 2022. The major causes did not significantly increase to explain the gap. Sorry.

Likewise, the pandemic lockdowns, caused less-car-travel so you'd expect deaths due to car accidents to decrease, rock climbing, risky behaviors, etc. Drug overdoses might have increased due to pandemic-related mental health issues.
