The front page of our local paper in the grocery store yesterday had a headline screaming TEMPS ACROSS US HIGHEST EVER RECORDED!!! Meanwhile, at the only open checkstand behind me, the store manager is the checker and the store owner's adult PhD son is the bagger because there are no employees to be had anywhere. As I left the store there was a sign posted that the store is closing early tonight because of "an unexpected employee shortage" The food co-op also had a sign posted that they were shortening their hours due to extended sickness. The biggest coffee stand in town has reduced their hours due to employee shortage. The softball team has opted out of the big tournament because 3/4 of the team are too sick to play. But, yeah, let's keep the global warming narrative going and ignore the culling happening right before our eyes.
Even regular forecasts here in the states have giant red and purple areas if it's going to be 80 degrees Fahrenheit or higher and warn of "dangerous" heat. Well, we can see ambient temperatures of minus 20 and even minus 30 below zero in the winter with a 50 or 60 below zero wind chill. I wouldn't mind a bit of that "dangerous" heat when it's that cold. *Without heat we cannot grow food!" (And they don't want humans growing food! Pay attention to the sneakily rolled out plans to "remake" our food production... and it will all be done in a lab). We *must not* fall for this stuff. We have to start pushing back. Refuse anything but real food. Be willing to say no all the way up until they put is in a "detention center". Our future depends on those of us who are willing to be ungovernable no matter the cost.
In my neck of the woods, things have been relatively calm and normal for say, the last 60 years, except for an oddity here and there. Certainly no long term trends towards warmer weather, and probably the opposite case could be made. With only 100-200 years of verified data, they are guessing 99.99% of the time. The only honest weather that I believe in is when I am actually taking part in it or seeing it take place outside my door.

Abstract
Following the 15 January 2022 Hunga Tonga‐Hunga Ha'apai eruption, several trace gases measured by the Aura Microwave Limb Sounder (MLS) displayed anomalous stratospheric values. Trajectories and radiance simulations confirm that the H2O, SO2, and HCl enhancements were injected by the eruption. In comparison with those from previous eruptions, the SO2 and HCl mass injections were unexceptional, although they reached higher altitudes. In contrast, the H2O injection was unprecedented in both magnitude (far exceeding any previous values in the 17‐year MLS record) and altitude (penetrating into the mesosphere). We estimate the mass of H2O injected into the stratosphere to be 146 ± 5 Tg, or ∼10% of the stratospheric burden. It may take several years for the H2O plume to dissipate. This eruption could impact climate not through surface cooling due to sulfate aerosols, but rather through surface warming due to the radiative forcing from the excess stratospheric H2O.
Water vapor in the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere (UTLS) plays an influential role in determining the Earth’s climate. Even small variations in the abundance of UTLS water vapor can significantly modulate the flux of outgoing long-wave radiation, prompting responsive changes in global surface temperatures. Solomon et al. [2010] demonstrated that the rapid 10% drop in UTLS water vapor near the end of 2000 [Randel et al., 2006] reduced the global surface warming from long-lived greenhouse gases and aerosols by 25% during 2000–2009. This sensitive connection with climate dictates that UTLS water vapor be closely monitored for changes, especially those that may result from our warming planet.
The maximum official temperature ever recorded by any weather station in Rome Italy, was 42°C on the 27th July 1841. A cursory internet search shows temperature reaching 40°C every other Summer. Therefore another 42°C is certainly not unprecedented, and since the last was in 1841 it does not equate with any gradual increase in the last few years. It would instead indicate the peak of warming was reached there in 1841. Long before everyone drove cars or flew in airplanes. How does this fit into the scaremongering? It does not.
Yes, but there is so much money to be made in continuing the fraud, not to mention a perfect excuse to control people's lives: what they can eat, where they can live or how they are allowed to move about.
Also, and this doesn't get talked about enough given that it blows AGW out of the water, that temp chart is 2 completely different datasets grafted together:
1. the recent instrumental record, which has very high resolution (no smoothing over time).
2. all these proxies, which come from extremely noisy data and are all SMOOTHED so much any variation on the relevant time scale would completely disappear.
Even if you believe their data, maybe there's been ~ 1.5 deg temp rise in the last century or so, and that's their signal for climate change, the blade of the hockey stick.
But we have no data for variation on that scale for previous periods, because its so smoothed. The recent "spike" might be completely normal variation, nobody has any idea.
Eg this from Marcott, author of one of the most important reconstructions:
"We showed that no temperature variability is preserved in our reconstruction at cycles shorter than 300 years"
