COVID caused a lot of 85 year olds to die between May and June 2020 but most of them were going to die in 2020 of something.
COVID caused a lot of 75 to 84 year olds to die too. Again, many would have died in 2020 anyway.
65 to 74 year olds, idem.
15 to 64 year old women were barely affected by COVID in 2020 but had a much worse year in 2021 as a result of the experimental measures that failed to stem COVID transmission.
15 to 64 year old men suffered in equal measure from COVID in 2020 and the vaccine and other interventions in 2021.
That’s pretty much it in a nutshell.
All that remains is to tally the societal cost of all the interventions. There’s no benefit to net against them.
