This is excellent and absolutely on point. As a child therapist working in primary schools, I have worked with children who sadly struggled with added stress and anxiety due to classroom teaching about climate change - they were being taught negative human impact and consequently feel guilt, low self worth and hopelessness. Is this any way to raise and educate children? I agree with the author - current education indoctrinated- rather than teaches or develops children. Far better they learn how to critically think, not what to think.

Excellent work happening here. Thank you.

Good to see you back, Joel, and I *love* what you’ve outlined here! This aligns with my 12-step recovery program for menticide (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/letter-to-the-menticided-a-12-step) and echoes what I have been trying to do since 2021 (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/a-primer-for-the-propagandized) — get people to QUESTION (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/a-mostly-peaceful-depopulation) instead of automatically accepting dogma handed down from on high.

Once you crack the seemingly impenetrable shell of their closed minds and get them to start questioning, the entire propaganda-painted facade starts to crumble as they begin realizing all their unexamined beliefs are based on false premises (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/case-in-point-false-premise), social engineering, and outright lies.

In “The Psychology of Peoples,” Gustave Le Bon writes about eras during which people become gripped by “absolutely inviolable beliefs.” It is only when those civilizations begin to break down and the old ideas are destroyed that it becomes possible to question and free thought can reign once again—until the next idea becomes cemented into dogma. I believe we are approaching such a period of renaissance thinking as more people become aware that we have been immersed in Plato’s Propaganda Cave (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/its-a-big-beautiful-club-and-you) for centuries if not millennia.

Great article! We definitely need critical thinkers not consensus followers.

Give AlterAI a try with your test questions. So far it is the only one to pass my 3 question test:

1) Should healthy children under the age of 12 get the covid vaccine?

2) Do people with natural immunity need to get the covid vaccine?

3) Does the covid vaccine stay at the injection site?

This is such a great essay and should be compulsory reading for educators!

Dogma versus evidence:

Anthropogenic climate change is dogma for which almost no credible evidence exists. If the idiotic hypothesis of anthropogenic climate change were true there's nothing humans could do about it as we contribute less than 1 percent of the earth's carbon cycle almost all of which is from our use of fossil fuels which we're not giving up anytime soon unless the aholes who have sequestered numerous technologies including those of Tesla release them. Electric vehicles are more environmentally unfriendly than combustion engines.

Humans evolved from primates is dogma for which almost no credible evidence exists. It's so idiotic only a moron or an academic anthropologist would believe it. Evolution is a fairly well understood biological process but it doesn't follow that humans evolved from primates just because we share much of the genome of a chimpanzee and have 2 arms, 2 legs, and hands and feet.

Covid19 was a natural pathogen from a "wet market" not a release from a level 4 bioweapon lab either in Wuhan or the U.S. This is insane dogma similar to HIV came from chimpanzees. Not surprisingly, Dr. Mengele Death Fauci was involved in both and hasn't been capitally punished for his decades-long crime spree.

mRNA injections mislabeled covid19 vaccines are safe, and effective. The mRNA bioweapons mislabeled covid19 vaccines are dangerous bioweapons with zero efficacy against covid19, and deadly or extremely serious adverse events.

The U.S. defends democracies around the world is completely idiotic dogma. The U.S. has installed brutal dictators the world over. Smedley Butler exposed the Fascists who attempted to overthrow FDR, and exposed the criminal U.S. permanent war machine almost 100 years ago. The U.S. has been at war for over 90% of its existence.

Much of what is taught about our history is dogma particularly when it involves war, and economics.

Great concept but seeing Richard Dawkins confront children with fossil evidence for evolution and the confusion that ensued highlights the essence of the problem. Power to your elbow Joel.

Brilliant! The frustrating thing is getting articles like this out there. Very often, on social media for example, putting a link to this will result in abuse and frustration. Generally, people seem unable to have reasoned discussions about these big topics. I think that if you couldn't say it when face to face with someone, you shouldn't post it online.

There's some hope; I got into a conversation with a girl of about sixteen at a self-service cash point. The subject of paying with cash came up; she said her mum had told her all about this and why it was important to pay with cash for some things. I said - your mum sounds great. It seems the people that don't want to accept the way things are going, are educating their own children to think for themselves.

I applaud your efforts fully, teaching them how to think but not what to think. There are many people who take their bible/religious text literally. They refuse to apply logic to certain things. This is what we are up against, 'religious' level beliefs in certain narratives. A map of where celebrities such as Oprah and O'Bama own properties would definitely be part of the story; they are not afraid of rising waters....

If my children were still school-aged I'm not sure I would even be sending them to school! I wouldn't be vaccinating them and I really think I would be looking at home schooling. I spent years telling them that they needed to check for themselves that their teachers were telling them the truth and that was some years ago now. My youngest had an English Lit teacher telling them that Tennyson was a coward because he wrote the Charge of the Light Brigade from the safety of his living room whilst "Our brave boys" were dying in the trenches. He also maintain that WH Auden was a German Jew. Ho Hum!

This is brilliant, thank you, SO what our educators, all of us and our children, need badly. 💕

As you say, critical thinking is key.

This characteristic can be written into all components of the curriculum.
