Thanks Joel. I can't believe we are still talking masks, but useful to have this reference, should they ever try and make a come back.

They should not have made it past summer 2020.

One of the first 40 new Covid billionaires was a PPE manufacturer. Foreign fella. There is MONEY in this, which is what keeps the scam going on all fronts in addition to the power and control it gives to political tyrants to turn us into faceless obedient slaves.

Nice collection! Did u read Jestre. Research coming out on finding of microplastics in lungs in relation w mask usage?

I read it today. It is shocking but not surprising.

Thanks for this compilation! I still see a LOT of people in my community, even some in my close circle, that are masking as Covid prevention. Otherwise healthy, but still doing the thing because they were browbeat that they had to. Like wearing a cardboard box for a football helmet, it's not doing shit and it looks ridiculous.

Bonnie Henry, "Health" Officer in BC, Cda, is already hinting at bringing masks back this fall, so I'm glad to see information still circulating on their ineffectiveness and harmfulness. Jestre (Substack) posted an article today showing micro plastics are being found in people's lungs from mask wearing. I've always seen them as a social control "burka" forced on everyone - dehumanizing and dystopian.

The worst part is, even if masks 'worked' and slowed the spread, all they are doing is extending the duration of the pandemic. Logically we want to be done with this as quickly as possible without overwhelming our hospitals, yet the 'expert advice' would be doing the opposite (if masks worked, which they don't.)

Around these parts 75% still wear them. Last night I was customer service at the grocery store watching the interaction of a customer and employee both wearing masks. So there is STILL a massive plexiglass barrier that ends where the credit card machine is. It's hard enough to hear and talk with the plexi alone. Add the masks and what did these 2 do? Both leaned over to pass the plexi and get close to each other so they could communicate.

This obviously happens in normal day to day discourse with mask wearers. Not being able to hear what the #### each other is saying you naturally go closer to the other person when talking. And one has to talk loudly to boot!

I'm not a biologist nor a virologist but if I can see what is happening why can't the "experts". Good grief.

Excellent collection. I remember there was a site that had an article talking about the ineffectiveness of masks before COVID19 and then they had to remove it because people were using it to "spread misinformation".

The Telegraph letter in August 2020 was a real eye opener. How could anyone read it, note the credentials of the author, ever believe that masks would help to reduce Covid infections?

It’s been a long 2 years.

Yep. My go-to resource when they used to say "yeah, well why do surgeons wear them then?!". Funny, when surgeons did wear them it was for different reasons anyway! But this has always been the depth that pro-policy disciples have gone, i.e. no more than superficial.

"Droplet evaporation on porous fabric materials"

Abstract

Droplet evaporation on porous materials is a complex dynamic that occurs with spontaneous liquid imbibition through pores by capillary action. Here, we explore water dynamics on a porous fabric substrate with in-situ observations of X-ray and optical imaging techniques. We show how spreading and wicking lead to water imbibition through a porous substrate, enhancing the wetted surface area and consequently promoting evaporation. These sequential dynamics offer a framework to understand the alterations in the evaporation due to porosity for the particular case of fabric materials and a clue of how face masks interact with respiratory droplets.

Thank you for sharing this again. It is timely since local schools are still mandating masks for children. I’ll be using many of these links to advocate. Much appreciated!

Thank you! This insane upside-down clown world continues! My supervisor at work sent an email out today, which said that all unvaccinated employees have to wear a KN95 mask, while "fully vaccinated" employees don't have to wear a mask at all if they don't want to. Does anyone know if I have any legal recourse? I think this is workplace harassment--trying to make things so uncomfortable for me as an employee that I finally break down and get the shots (at best). We are required to bring our "vaccination cards" to HR to prove vaccination status. Is this not a HIPPA violation? Any lawyers in the house? I live in Maine in the USA.

I can at least respond to the HIPAA issue. HIPAA is ONLY about health organizations/practitioners. It does not apply to newspapers, your workplace, or anywhere else. It is one of the stupidest laws ever passed for a whole list of reasons. So, no...it is not a HIPAA violation, sadly.

anyone that thinks masks worked or still worked is a moron and anyone who wore them just to get along or not get in trouble is a coward (me included on the later, at risk of losing my job and work permit in Stazi Singapore, I eventually escaped to freedom loving Thailand)
