How much longer can the anthropogenic global warming narrative continue?

Does anyone, even those paid to evangelise, believe it?

Climate change policy is driven by people who have never heard or practiced quality control, would not even fathom that all their data is theoretical with huge real world uncertainties making it useless for application yet would demand that a Boeing plane be thoroughly tested and verified for flight because it has to be "safe"

The trouble with using proxies and all that stuff is the same. The underlying uncertainties are are huge and even if they get reduced in a certain way the reference (temperature) that they calibrate to is also an order of magnitude larger than the variation predicted or required to match a hypothesis.

Climate data is really a collection of vague measurements of weather to give a rough idea of changes over the years. But it has been weaponised by retardemics and pushed out into the real world with a false sense of importance. And this is not even getting into the non-sensical idea that CO2 can drive a complex coupled atmospheric system without serious amounts of energy needed to stop variability and randomness. i.e. how every other complex system works from chemical biology to plasmas.

It has been this way for years but just ask them how exactly where any of the measurement tools were designed for the job and you get hand waving and "all errors are random" nonsense.

None of this, just like the Ferguson models, would pass a real-world audit with real world accountability.

Which means it's not about "science" - that's just the window dressing. It's about making money out of taxes and credits - tithes to the Church of Climate.

The thing that is so annoying is that every false narrative put out by our oppressors is so obviously unbelievable to anyone who undertakes a modicum of research into these falsehoods.

In the case of climate, they ludicrously claim that atmospheric CO2 resulting from human consumption of fossil fuels is the main “control knob” for the global climate. This is debunked by undisputable recent millennial variations: the Roman Warm Period (no SUVs or heavy industry then) followed by the cold of the Dark Ages, then the Medieval Warm Period (with Vikings settling in Greenland) followed by the Little Ice Age (Vikings forced out of Greenland). Then there is all the scientific evidence from further in the past that atmospheric CO2 increases many years after a rise in global temperatures, not the other way around.

The false narratives on Covid, Ukraine and all their other scams are equally easy to see through. They get away with it by using psyops brainwashing and exploiting the good nature of the general public who don’t want to believe that The Powers That Be would lie to them so blatantly and treat them so badly as to try to impoverish them, digitally enslave them, maim them and even kill them.

Good post, Joel - thanks. Have also been tackling this topic in recent posts and articles. I've found conversations on this topic have been more fruitful of late, as even those included to believe everything they hear on the BBC have realised that the mainstream narrative is somewhat flawed! No time like the present to get the message out...

A familiar tactic used to 'debunk' the solar influence on climate by climate alarmists is to point to the small changes in total solar irradiance (TSI) over the solar cycle and during grand solar minimums and claim that such a small change in direct radiative forcing can only have a minimal effect at best. But, solar UV irradiance varies a lot more over the solar cycle plus during a grand solar minimum than does TSI and it is quite likely that this is how solar variability mainly drives changes in climate, indirectly, via chemical reactions in the upper atmosphere which feed down to the surface:

"Over a solar cycle and certainly in response to a future grand minimum, irradiance variability at middle ultraviolet (UV) wavelengths that drive oxygen photolysis and ozone chemistry is much larger that that of the TSI. Resulting changes to stratospheric ozone abundance alter the stratosphere–troposphere temperature gradient and feed back to tropospheric planetary wave refraction, further altering climatically relevant circulation patterns (Maycock et al. 2015). With this realization that both direct radiative and indirect stratospheric influences affect terrestrial climate under a solar grand minimum, it is important to understand how UV irradiance would respond to such a large and prolonged change in solar magnetic activity."

All the plots show the small changes in the Earth's Temperature over a relatively short period of time, since the end of the last Ice Age, or, alternately, since the beginning of this current brief Inter-Glacial Period called the Holocene.

The much larger changes in the Earth's temperature, as the Ice Ages come and go, on about a 100,000 year cycles, are caused by variations in the Earth's Orbit which of course also affect the insolation of the sun on the Earth. These variations in the Earth's orbit, the so-called Milankovitch Cycles, are in Hays et al.’s words, the Pacemaker of the Ice-Ages, from their seminal 1976 work published in Science using Mud Core DATA:

Variations in the Earth’s Orbit: Pacemaker of the Ice Ages (https://www.whoi.edu/cms/files/hays76sci_268464.pdf)

These findings were later verified using the Vostok Ice Core DATA.

But...but...Jim Dale was on GB News saying the number of 'named storms' in the UK had increased and this was a sign of man-made climate change. I mean, he's a fully qualified senior meteorologist and the founder of British Weather Services so he must be right, yes?

There is a parsimonious explanation for the mechanism by which the extremist agenda is funded and proliferates.

"Why are you banging on that frying pan?"

"Because it scares the tigers away."

But there have never been any tigers in this part of the world."

"See; it works perfectly."

If history and astrophysics turn out to be relevant, the massive wealth transfer being imposed by the grifters will be declared essential in cooling the planet.

When one ignores the useful idiots and fellow-travelers, a strong signal emerges from the noise. Follow the money.

I see no evidence of any global warming. Sure, the nature of weather in my area has changed over the last 60 years. It's become more docile, overall. You have to wait 3-4 years to get a really good summer lightening and thunder storm...the kind that mesmerize you. 100 degree days which might be a precursor to warmer temps are few and far between, like several years apart with no trends.

The sun is the best drug you can take and it's free. The medical mafia wants you to hate the sun and tells us that even a pin-prickle of a sun-ray can cause cancer. All balderdash.

The climate is what it is and the sun is there for the taking. Ignore all things politically charged and enjoy what is free. The media is such a waste of your good time and sanity.

The idea that “carbon footprint” creates global warming is also a profitable distraction from pollution itself, and pollution of air and water and food are really killing people. Meanwhile chemical companies pollute the planet and get rich, while big pharmaceutical pollutes our bodies and kills us. Many “philanthropist”billionaires are heavily invested in these chemical and pharmaceutical corporations, while talking about carbon footprints and global warming.

It'll only cost well over a billion to "fix" "Climate Change" via more governance. Because you aren't ruled, robbed (taxed) and had that money redistributed to selected parties enough already.

Just another lie to enable more governance and all governance is totalitarian.

How does solar activity modulate the cosmic ray flux? This is a new one for me.

Thanks for the write up. I have a question. I have read reports that the treeline in Canada is moving northward. What would be causing that? Is it the uptick in temperature at the right hand end of the graph you supplied? by the way, a legend or descriptor for the various lines on the charts would be helpful.
